How data is gathered
- Specifications are researched manually from providers' own documentation and, where testable, verified directly. Verified specs carry a "verified" date.
- Prices come from manual checks and automated collectors that read providers' published pricing. Automated prices are marked "auto-checked" with a date; manual ones "verified" with a date. Renewal prices are always displayed beside intro prices — this is a founding rule of the site.
- Scores are computed by the published methodology. Humans maintain the formula (with a public change log); humans never type a score.
We use automation — including software tooling and AI assistance — for data collection and drafting, with human review before anything is published as fact or ranked as indexable editorial content.
Independence
Advertising and affiliate relationships are disclosed here and have no input into rankings. Products owned by our parent company are labelled and scored identically to competitors. Ranking-formula changes require a written, published rationale.
Corrections
If we have something wrong — a price, a spec, a policy — tell us: support@infralist.io. Providers are welcome to submit corrections with sources; we verify before updating, and updated prices get a fresh verification date. Material errors are corrected on the page itself; we do not silently rewrite scores (score changes only happen through the versioned methodology pipeline).
