Ownership & advertising disclosure

This site is operated by Boompow (Boom Pow Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong, no. 3258397), under the Intriguing Content media umbrella. Intriguing Content runs several comparison and directory sites; Boompow also owns software products. The chain, in full: this site → Intriguing Content → Boompow → product brands.

When a product owned by our parent company is listed here, it is marked "Owned by our parent co." wherever it appears, it gets no affiliate link (there would be no point — same owner), and it is scored by the same published methodology, on the same data pipeline, as every competitor.

1. Affiliate commissions. Some outbound links are affiliate links — if you buy after clicking, the provider pays us a commission. It costs you nothing. Affiliate links are labelled and carry rel="sponsored". Every provider's outbound link works the same way whether or not an affiliate deal exists, and rankings never change based on commission — the ranking formula has no input for it.
2. Advertising. Ad placements are clearly labelled "Advertisement", visually separate from rankings, and never mixed into result lists. House ads for our own brands are additionally labelled as such.

Scores, rankings, "best of" placements, and editorial copy. The scoring formula and its change history are public on the methodology page. If a provider wants a better score, the only route is better specs and pricing.
